Custom Orders

Custom orders have become my new favorite.  I’ve learned to do new things and go beyond my comfort zone.  It’s been rewarding, that’s for sure.  I can’t believe I’m going to say this:  I love my job.  Every day is a new adventure.  Every sign, every design, every time I pick up my paint brush.  It never seems like work, and yet, I’m getting paid.  I am humbled to tears by the comments of friends, family, and even strangers.  So … Read more

September Already!?!

Wow.  September came in like a flash.  It seems like we just rang in the new year! It’s just about time to get to the “fall things” like cleaning up the yard, garden, and flower beds.  Preparing for winter.  Doing the autumn cleaning and preparing for the house to be closed up for months on end.  Wash the curtains and air everything out.  Wash away  the summer allergens. Fact: I am not good at scheduling myself. It’s like a madhouse around here.  One week into school and we never know who is coming or going or where anyone is at.  It’s making me crazy–like on the verge of schizo.
